Allergen samples from Pakipika's 3 kittens were received at the lab
As cooler days settle in, I hope you find yourself enjoying the change of season. Things have been wonderfully busy (and honestly a little chaotic!) here at the catteries, so let me catch you up on everything going on.
Pakipika's Kittens: Marco, Adria & Venezia
Pakipika's three kittens just turned 13 weeks old, and I've completed their saliva sample collection for allergen testing. The samples arrived at the lab today, and I'm hoping to have results early next week, or by Friday at the latest.
I know the interest in these three has been huge, and I've genuinely had a hard time keeping up with all the messages.
To make sure I can find the best home for Marco, Adria, and Venezia as quickly and fairly as possible once results are in, I'd like everyone interested to fill out this simple questionnaire . They'll be priced according to our allergen-tested price chart.
I'm working on a process that feels more fair and less stressful than first-come-first-served for everyone involved, so thank you for bearing with me as we try this!
Three New Litters!
We also welcomed three new litters this month, and all the mamas and babies are doing wonderful. One sweet little boy from Pepa Madrigal did need some extra TLC with bottle feeding early on, but he's growing beautifully now. Each mama has 5 adorable kittens!
We won't be allergen testing the first two litters (from Alaea Salt and Pepa Madrigal), and we're still deciding on the third one from Chani-Chana (previously known as Margot), our gorgeous red silver queen. More updates on all of these little ones soon!
Looking Ahead
We'll also be testing Faith's three kittens in early November for allergen level. And there's even more on the way: Sierra has been bred by Gandalf, Neige by Waldo, and Mei by Zoro, we are very excited to have so many potential litters coming this Winter!
